The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is on the hunt for a new member of its Business Development Board.
The international vacancy is open only to those with either
MCIOB or FCIOB status and the successful candidate will help shape strategies
for the development and delivery of CIOB products and services to members and
the public worldwide.
The new board member will also play a role in reviewing the
products and services provided to members and the public, as well as setting
standards for the delivery and accessibility of those products and services,
and monitoring how well the CIOB is doing against those standards.
The three-year-long role will require the successful
candidate to attend four meetings a year, as well as to undertake eight hours’
reading time annually and offer their input into projects and strategy.
Jean Duprez, director of Duprez Consulting and director of
Women into Construction, chair of the Business Development Board, said: “The
Business Development Board is represented by a diverse group of passionate

is vital that we remain connected to our membership whilst shaping and
overseeing the strategic direction needed for the institute to remain
synonymous with quality and professionalism.”
